At Big View meetings we invite the community to learn from under-heard voices, sharing about their lived experiences interacting with our community systems. Our November topic focused on the cycle of fines and fees, a barrier that keeps many in our community locked in a debtor’s prison, and we heard from one of our Circle Leaders, Shaletha Parks, about her personal experience with this cycle.
